This cab was sitting on the bottom shelf at the liquor store and I decided to give it a home. This wine certainly tries hard, but misses the mark. Not so much because of the wine its self, but the value. For about 2 bucks more there is some fierce competition this wine has to contend with. |
The wine is a average attempt at Cabernet Sauvignon. Nothing was particularly interesting about it and nothing really wrong. When first opened it was tough to get through an alcohol smell to find the unripe cherries and plum scents. Hardly any detection of tannins, which could be good for people who don't like making that funny face like when standing to close to "buy a frigin bar of soap" guy on the subway. |
Tip: Major improvements after being open 45 minutes. |
